Got it. Thanks! I went ahead and ordered a set of Rhino tracks that were on sale on Amazon to play around with. Will post my results once they are here.
I have a very lightly used AFE Pro Dry intake system for the early Tundra and Sequoia's with the Non-VVTi 4.7Ls. Had this intake on my '04 Tundra for a few hundred miles before selling the truck. It's in like new condition. I am missing the 3 extended vacuum lines as I had to re-use them on...
Decided it was time to get rid of the trash can sized muffler and the secondary resonator and let the 5.7L breath a bit better. Spent a few hours at local exhaust shop yesterday having them weld in a Flowmaster 50 series muffler, custom adapter piping and add a nice black stainless steel tip...
That's the answer i was looking for ;). Been thinking about trying a universal set of tracks from Rhino Rack on my roof so this give's me hope that I could adapt a set.
Maybe i missed it in your install thread but do you recall the length of the tracks that FR provides?
I have a set of 4 brand new in box BORA 3/4" wheel spacers collecting dust in my garage. I bought these for the Tundra but never got around to installing them and now we have the 2nd Gen so the lug pattern won't work.
Asking $125 plus the shipping cost
Thanks
Guess I'll be the second official 2nd Gen build thread :D
With child number 3 coming soon we made the jump recently from '04 Tundra Double Cab to an '08 Sequoia Limited. The truck was great and 3 car seats would have fit fine in the backseat but there was no room for any additional passengers...
Rack looks great on your Sequoia! Question for you on the install. Are the included tracks pre-bent to contour to the curvature of the Sequoia roof or do they sort of bend into place when tightening the mounting bolts down?
