I just wanted new shocks and keep the air ride and disengage the adjustable electronic components off the shocks. Will it work with Bilstein 5100 shocks?

I am very interested in your knowledge. I have a 09 Toyota Sequoia platinum air ride in the back but adjustable shocks. Can you tell me if I can replace it with the Bilstein shocks 5100 set? And disengage the ome suspension system?

I just got a used 09 Toyota Sequoia Called my brother and asked the same question. He is a certified mechanic. He said change it but don have it flushed. So I did . He gave an elaborate explanation of some valves in the transmission. I just did it as I allways have it changed when I buy a used car

If it is not an electronic issue. And it might be. Look under the seat and see if anything is unplugged. If all looks well. Maybe try deep creep penetrating fluid on the metal threads. Hope it helps
