Rear seat entertainment package options when replacing stereo

Hey everyone, I just got an '07 sequoia, and the speakers are all dead, and the remote and headphones are all missing for the rear seat entertainment package.

If I replace the stereo with a new double din unit, what options are there for the rear seat dvd player? It will stop working if I replace the stereo correct? Any one done this?

I pulled the DVD player and replaced with a dome light. We didnt need the DVD player. I removed the Amp under the center console that supplied power for the original system as well. Check out my build thread on mud for some more details
