Hi all,
I have a mostly stock ‘02 Limited that is getting promoted to weekend warrior. Just found this thread. It’s nice that it’s all Sequoia here. I don’t have to search around or piece together Tundra forums.

hey there! I got an 01 about a year and a half ago. loving it. got some all terrain 31's on it, not as knobby as yours. Currently working on some pulley and engine issues. Got a new all aluminum radiator that's working really well! I'll shoot some pics in a few days.

Welcome to the club. Glad to see more people realizing the Sequoias potential, hopefully aftermarket support picks up.

Currently running Goodyear Duratrac 265/75R16. First experience with Goodyear and it’s been good. I almost always go BFG all terrains. These were on promotion and too good to pass up. (After store discount and mail in rebate only $109.99 ea!)

I popped a check engine light. One knock sensor and one O2 sensor. I’ll be doing both knock sensors and the starter while the intake manifold is off(worst starter location ever), but with a quarter million miles on her, I’ll allow it. Basically only done preventative/ maintenance work. I did have a shop do the Air conditioning @17x,xxx, otherwise it’s been an absolute work horse.

Whenever these tires are done I’ll go up in size. 295/75R16 will work as is. 35’s will fit with a 2.5” lift in the front on different wheels. Only reason I don’t want to go that route is I already have 6 factory rims. But I’m not opposed to cutting whatever I need to. Maybe I’ll just stuff 35’s and trim away. ‍

Yeah! Nice rig ya got going, I see ya got her working and playing. I'm looking forward to hitting some trails with mine next year. I'm gonna upgrade my suspension sometime, with a mild lift maybe 2". Been looking at 1st gen off road website for whole leveling and upgrade kits, seems like a good place to start. I'm gonna be raptor lining my trim pieces, bumpers, skid, etc. I've already had people scuff up my bumpers at parking lots, I'm thinking exo bumper upgrades and a bull bars are in order. Be well friend!
